38:1 [cbb5] 那时耶和华从旋风中回答约伯说、
    [kjv] Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,

38:2 [cbb5] 谁用无知的言语、使我的旨意暗昧不明、
    [kjv] Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?
    [strongs] 4310 Who {is} 0000 this 2821 that darkens 6098 counsel 4405 by words 1097 without 1847 knowledge?
38:3 [cbb5] 你要如勇士束腰我问你、你可以指示我。
    [kjv] Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.
    [strongs] 2296 Gird up 4994 now 1397 like a man 4975 your loins, 7592 for I will question you, 3045 and you teach me.
38:4 [cbb5] 我立大地根基的时候、你在那里呢你若有聪明只管说罢。
    [kjv] Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
    [strongs] 0375 Where 1961 were you 3245 when I 0776 laid the death's foundations? 5618 Declare 0000 if 3045 you know 0998 understanding.
38:5 [cbb5] 你若晓得就说、是谁定地的尺度是谁把准绳拉在其上。
    [kjv] Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?
    [strongs] 2559 Who has set 4461 its measurements, 3588 for 3045 you know? 0518 Or 5186 who has stretched 5921 upon it 2339 a line?
38:6 [cbb5] 地的根基安置在何处地的角石是谁安放的。
    [kjv] Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;
    [strongs] 5921 On 4100 what 0134 its bases 2883 were sunk? 0518 Or 3384 who has cast 0068 the stone of 6438 its corner
38:7 [cbb5] 那时晨星一同歌唱、神的众子也都欢呼。
    [kjv] When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
    [strongs] 7442 when sang 3162 together 3556 the stars of 1242 the morning, 7321 and shouted for joy 3605 all 1121 the sons of 0430 God?
38:8 [cbb5] 海水冲出、如出胎胞那时谁将他关闭呢
    [kjv] Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?
    [strongs] 5526 Or {who} shut up 1817 with doors 3220 the sea 1518 when it burst out, 0990 from the womb 3318 it came forth?
38:9 [cbb5] 是我用云彩当海的衣服、用幽暗当包裹他的布、
    [kjv] When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it,
    [strongs] 7760 When I made 6051 the clouds 3830 for its garment, 2822 and darkness 2854 its swaddling,
38:10 [cbb5] 为他定界限、又安门和闩、
    [kjv] And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors,
    [strongs] 7665 and I broke 0000 on it 2706 My limit, 5186 and set 1280 bars 1817 and doors,
38:11 [cbb5] 说、你只可到这里、不可越过、你狂傲的浪要到此止住。
    [kjv] And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?
    [strongs] 0559 and I said, 1988 to here 0000 You 0935 will come, 3808 but no 6581 farther, 6311 and here 7896 will stop 1347 proud 1530 your waves?
38:12 [cbb5] 你自生以来、曾命定晨光、使清晨的日光知道本位
    [kjv] Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place;
    [strongs] 3117 from your days 3947 Did you tell 1242 the morning 3045 caused to know 7837 the dawn 4725 its place,
38:13 [cbb5] 叫这光普照地的四极、将恶人从其中驱逐出来麽。
    [kjv] That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?
    [strongs] 0270 that it could take hold 7098 of the ends of 0776 the earth, 5287 that could be shaken 7563 the wicked 4480 out of it?
38:14 [cbb5] 因这光地面改变如泥上印印万物出现如衣服一样。
    [kjv] It is turned as clay to the seal; and they stand as a garment.
    [strongs] 2015 It is turned 2563 like clay 2368 {under} a seal, 5265 and they set forth 0000 like 3830 a garment.
38:15 [cbb5] 亮光不照恶人、强横的膀臂也必折断。
    [kjv] And from the wicked their light is withholden, and the high arm shall be broken.
    [strongs] 4513 And is withheld 7563 from the wicked 0216 their light, 2220 and the arm 1364 high 7665 will be broken.
38:16 [cbb5] 你曾进到海源、或在深渊的隐密处行走麽。
    [kjv] Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? or hast thou walked in the search of the depth?
    [strongs] 1980 Have you gone 0000 to 1543 the springs of 3220 the sea. 2714 Or in searching of 8415 the deep 1980 have you walked?
38:17 [cbb5] 死亡的门、曾向你显露麽死荫的门、你曾见过麽。
    [kjv] Have the gates of death been opened unto thee? or hast thou seen the doors of the shadow of death?
    [strongs] 1540 Have been opened 0000 to you 1817 gates 4194 death's 8179 or the gates of 6757 the death-shade 7200 have you seen?
38:18 [cbb5] 地的广大、你能明透麽你若全知道、只管说罢。
    [kjv] Hast thou perceived the breadth of the earth? declare if thou knowest it all.

38:19 [cbb5] 光明的居所从何而至、黑暗的本位在於何处。
    [kjv] Where is the way where light dwelleth? and as for darkness, where is the place thereof,

38:20 [cbb5] 你能带到本境、能看明其室之路麽。
    [kjv] That thou shouldest take it to the bound thereof, and that thou shouldest know the paths to the house thereof?
    [strongs] 0000 that 3947 you should take it 0000 to 1366 its territory, 0000 and that 0995 you should perceive 5410 the paths to 1004 its house?
38:21 [cbb5] 你总知道、因为你早已生在世上、你日子的数目也多。
    [kjv] Knowest thou it, because thou wast then born? or because the number of thy days is great?

38:22 [cbb5] 你曾进入雪库、或见过雹仓麽。
    [kjv] Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail,

38:23 [cbb5] 这雪雹乃是我为降灾、并打仗和争战的日子所豫备的。
    [kjv] Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?

38:24 [cbb5] 光亮从何路分开、东风从何路分散遍地。
    [kjv] By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the east wind upon the earth?

38:25 [cbb5] 谁为雨水分道、谁为雷电开路
    [kjv] Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder;

38:26 [cbb5] 使雨降在无人之地、无人居住的旷野
    [kjv] To cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is; on the wilderness, wherein there is no man;

38:27 [cbb5] 使荒废凄凉之地得以丰足、青草得以发生。
    [kjv] To satisfy the desolate and waste ground; and to cause the bud of the tender herb to spring forth?

    [kjv] Hath the rain a father? or who hath begotten the drops of dew?

38:29 [cbb5] 冰出於谁的胎、天上的霜、是谁生的呢。
    [kjv] Out of whose womb came the ice? and the hoary frost of heaven, who hath gendered it?

38:30 [cbb5] 诸水坚硬”或作隐藏〔如石头、深渊之面凝结成冰。
    [kjv] The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep is frozen.

    [kjv] Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?

38:32 [cbb5] 你能按时领出十二宫麽、能引导北斗和随他的众星麽”星原文作子〔
    [kjv] Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?
    [strongs] 3318 Can you bring forth 4216 the constellations 6256 in their season, 5906 or the Bear 0000 with 1121 its sons, 5148 can you guide them?
38:33 [cbb5] 你知道天的定例麽、能使地归在天的权下麽。
    [kjv] Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?
    [strongs] 3045 Do you know 2708 the limits of 8064 the heavens. 7760 Or can you establish 4896 their rule 0776 on the earth?
38:34 [cbb5] 你能向云彩扬起声来、使倾盆的雨遮盖你麽。
    [kjv] Canst thou lift up thy voice to the clouds, that abundance of waters may cover thee?
    [strongs] 0734 Can you lift 5645 to the clouds 6963 your voice 8229 so that the flood of 4325 waters 3680 may you cover?
38:35 [cbb5] 你能发出闪电、叫他行去、使他对你说、我们在这里。
    [kjv] Canst thou send lightnings, that they may go and say unto thee, Here we are?
    [strongs] 7971 Can you send forth 7300 lightnings, 5927 that they may go 0559 and say 0000 to you, 0000 Here we {are}?
38:36 [cbb5] 谁将智慧放在怀中、谁将聪明赐於心内。
    [kjv] Who hath put wisdom in the inward parts? or who hath given understanding to the heart?

38:37 [cbb5] 谁能用智慧数算云彩呢、尘土聚集成团、土块紧紧结连那时、谁能倾倒天上的瓶呢。
    [kjv] Who can number the clouds in wisdom? or who can stay the bottles of heaven,

    [kjv] Who provideth for the raven his food? when his young ones cry unto God, they wander for lack of meat.
