箴言 Proverbs 17
17:1 [cbb5] 设筵满屋、大家相争、不如有块乾饼、大家相安。
    [kjv] Better is a dry morsel, and quietness therewith, than an house full of sacrifices with strife.
    [strongs] 2896 Better {is} 6595 a piece of bread 3004 dry 8253 and quietness 0000 with it, 1004 than a house 4392 full of 2077 sacrifices 7378 {with} strife.
17:2 [cbb5] 仆人办事聪明、必管辖贻羞之子、又在众子中、同分产业。
    [kjv] A wise servant shall have rule over a son that causeth shame, and shall have part of the inheritance among the brethren.
    [strongs] 1249 A servant 7919 who acts prudently 4910 will rule 1121 over a son 0954 who causes shame. 8432 And among 0251 the brothers 2505 he will share 5159 the inheritance.
17:3 [cbb5] 鼎为炼银、炉为炼金惟有耶和华熬炼人心。
    [kjv] The fining pot is for silver, and the furnace for gold: but the LORD trieth the hearts.
    [strongs] 4715 The crucible 3701 for silver, 3536 and the furnace 2091 for gold. 0974 But tries 3826 the hearts 3068 Yahweh.
17:4 [cbb5] 行恶的留心听奸诈之言说谎的侧耳听邪恶之语。
    [kjv] A wicked doer giveth heed to false lips; and a liar giveth ear to a naughty tongue.
    [strongs] 7489 An evildoer 7181 heeds 5491 lips 8267 false. 5583 A liar 0238 listens to 3956 a tongue of 1942 {evil} desire
17:5 [cbb5] 戏笑穷人的、是辱没造他的主幸灾乐祸的、必不免受罚。
    [kjv] Whoso mocketh the poor reproacheth his Maker: and he that is glad at calamities shall not be unpunished.
    [strongs] 3932 He who mocks 6035 the poor 2778 reviles 6213 his Maker. 8056 He who rejoices 0343 at calamity 3808 not 1961 will be innocent.
17:6 [cbb5] 子孙为老人的冠冕父亲是儿女的荣耀。
    [kjv] Children's children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers.
    [strongs] 5850 the crown of 2205 old men {is} 1121 Sons of 1121 sons, 3519 and the glory of 1121 sons 0001 their fathers.
17:7 [cbb5] 愚顽人说美言本不相宜、何况君王说谎话呢。
    [kjv] Excellent speech becometh not a fool: much less do lying lips a prince.
    [strongs] 3808 not 5000 is fitting 5036 for a fool 8193 A lip of 3966 excess 0637 much less 3588 for 5081 a noble 8193 lips of 7257 lying.
17:8 [cbb5] 贿赂在馈送的人眼中、看为宝玉、随处运动、都得顺利。
    [kjv] A gift is as a precious stone in the eyes of him that hath it: whithersoever it turneth, it prospereth.
    [strongs] 0068 A stone of 2580 grace {is} 7810 the bribe 5869 in the eyes of 1167 its owner, 0000 to 3605 every where 2015 he turns 7919 he is prudent.
17:9 [cbb5] 遮掩人过的、寻求人爱屡次挑错的、离间密友。
    [kjv] He that covereth a transgression seeketh love; but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends.
    [strongs] 3680 He who covers 6588 transgression 1245 seeks 0026 love, 8138 but one repeating 3056 a matter 6504 separates 0157 friends.
17:10 [cbb5] 一句责备话、深入聪明人的心、强如责打愚昧人一百下。
    [kjv] A reproof entereth more into a wise man than an hundred stripes into a fool.
    [strongs] 5181 goes down 1606 A rebuke 0995 into an astute one 5221 more than blows 3684 {into} a fool 3967 a hundred
17:11 [cbb5] 恶人只寻背叛、所以必有严厉的使者、奉差攻击他。
    [kjv] An evil man seeketh only rebellion: therefore a cruel messenger shall be sent against him.
    [strongs] 0389 only 4805 A rebel 1245 seeks 7451 evil. 4397 So a messenger 0393 cruel 7971 is sent 0000 against him.
17:12 [cbb5] 宁可遇见丢崽子的母熊、不可遇见正行愚妄的愚昧人。
    [kjv] Let a bear robbed of her whelps meet a man, rather than a fool in his folly.
    [strongs] 6298 Let meet 1677 a bear 7909 bereaved {of cubs} 0376 a man, 0408 and not 3684 a fool 0200 in his foolishness.
17:13 [cbb5] 以恶报善的、祸患必不离他的家。
    [kjv] Whoso rewardeth evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house.
    [strongs] 7725 He who returns 7451 evil 8478 instead of 2896 good, 3808 not 4185 will depart 7451 evil 1004 from his household.
17:14 [cbb5] 分争的起头、如水放开所以在争闹之先、必当止息争竞。
    [kjv] The beginning of strife is as when one letteth out water: therefore leave off contention, before it be meddled with.
    [strongs] 6362 {like} the releasing of 4325 water 7225 The beginning of 4066 strife {is}. 6440 So before 1566 it breaks out, 7378 striving 4616 abandon.
17:15 [cbb5] 定恶人为义的、定义人为恶的、这都为耶和华所憎恶。
    [kjv] He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD.
    [strongs] 6663 He who justifies 7563 the wicked, 7561 and condemns 6662 the just 8441 {are} hateful to 3068 Yahweh, 1571 even 8147 both of them.
17:16 [cbb5] 愚昧人既无聪明、为何手拿价银买智慧呢。
    [kjv] Wherefore is there a price in the hand of a fool to get wisdom, seeing he hath no heart to it?
    [strongs] 4100 Why 2988 {is} this 7939 hire 3027 in the hand of 3684 a fool 7069 to obtain 2451 wisdom 3820 and a heart 0369 there is not?
17:17 [cbb5] 朋友乃时常亲爱弟兄为患难而生。
    [kjv] A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.
    [strongs] 3605 At every 6256 time 0157 loves 7453 the friend. 0251 And a brother 6864 for trouble 3205 is born.
17:18 [cbb5] 在邻舍面前击掌作保、乃是无知的人。
    [kjv] A man void of understanding striketh hands, and becometh surety in the presence of his friend.
    [strongs] 0120 A man 2627 lacking 3820 heart 5221 strikes 3709 the palm. 6148 He pledges 6440 in front of 7451 his friend.
17:19 [cbb5] 喜爱争竞的、是喜爱过犯高立家门的、乃自取败坏。
    [kjv] He loveth transgression that loveth strife: and he that exalteth his gate seeketh destruction.
    [strongs] 0157 He who loves 6588 transgression 0157 loves 7379 strife. 1361 He who exalts 6607 his door 1245 seeks 7667 shattering
17:20 [cbb5] 心存邪僻的、寻不着好处舌弄是非的、陷在祸患中。
    [kjv] He that hath a froward heart findeth no good: and he that hath a perverse tongue falleth into mischief.
    [strongs] 6141 One of crooked 3820 heart 3808 not 5101 finds 2896 good. 2017 And one perverse 3956 in his tongue 4098 falls 7451 into evil.
17:21 [cbb5] 生愚昧子的、必自愁苦愚顽人的父、毫无喜乐。
    [kjv] He that begetteth a fool doeth it to his sorrow: and the father of a fool hath no joy.
    [strongs] 7451 He who fathers 3684 a fool {falls} 8424 into grief 0000 for it. 3808 And not 8056 will rejoice 0001 the father of 5036 a fool.
17:22 [cbb5] 喜乐的心、乃是良药忧伤的灵、使骨枯乾。
    [kjv] A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
    [strongs] 3820 A heart 8056 joyful 3190 makes good 4832 healing. 2307 But a spirit 5218 stricken 3001 dries 6106 the bone.
17:23 [cbb5] 恶人暗中受贿赂、为要颠倒判断。
    [kjv] A wicked man taketh a gift out of the bosom to pervert the ways of judgment.
    [strongs] 7810 a bribe 2436 out of the bosom 7563 The wicked 3947 takes. 5186 To stretch 0734 the paths of 4941 justice.
17:24 [cbb5] 明哲人眼前有智慧愚昧人眼望地极。
    [kjv] Wisdom is before him that hath understanding; but the eyes of a fool are in the ends of the earth.
    [strongs] 6440 With the face of 2450 the wise 2451 {is} wisdom. 5869 But the eyes of 3684 a fool 7097 {are} in the ends of 0776 the earth.
17:25 [cbb5] 愚昧子使父亲愁烦、使母亲忧苦。
    [kjv] A foolish son is a grief to his father, and bitterness to her that bare him.
    [strongs] 3708 {is} a vexation 0001 to his father 5207 A son 0453 foolish. 4470 And bitterness 3205 to her who gave birth to him.
17:26 [cbb5] 刑罚义人为不善责打君子为不义。
    [kjv] Also to punish the just is not good, nor to strike princes for equity.
    [strongs] 1571 Also 6064 to punish 6662 the just 3756 {is} not 2896 good. 5221 To strike 5081 nobles 3476 for uprightness.
17:27 [cbb5] 寡少言语的有知识性情温良的有聪明。
    [kjv] He that hath knowledge spareth his words: and a man of understanding is of an excellent spirit.
    [strongs] 2820 He who restrains 1697 his words 3045 knows 1922 knowledge. 7119 And cool of 7307 spirit 0376 {is} a man of 0995 understanding.
17:28 [cbb5] 愚昧人若静默不言、也可算为智慧闭口不说、也可算为聪明。
    [kjv] Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding.
    [strongs] 1571 Even 0191 a fool 2790 who is silent 4680 wise 2803 is thought. 6095 He who shuts 8193 his lips 0995 {as} understanding.
