2:1 [cbb5] 这事以后、亚哈随鲁王的忿怒止息、就想念瓦实提和他所行的、并怎样降旨办他。
    [kjv] After these things, when the wrath of king Ahasuerus was appeased, he remembered Vashti, and what she had done, and what was decreed against her.
    [strongs] 0310 After 1697 things 0428 these, 7918 when had quieted 2534 the fury of 4428 King 0325 Ahasuerus, 2142 he recalled 2060 Vashti, 0000 and 0834 what 6213 she had done, 0000 and 0834 what 1504 he decreed 0000 against her.
2:2 [cbb5] 於是王的侍臣对王说、不如为王寻找美貌的处女
    [kjv] Then said the king's servants that ministered unto him, Let there be fair young virgins sought for the king:
    [strongs] 0559 Then said 5650 servants 4428 the king's 8334 ministering to him, 1245 Let them seek 4428 for the king 5291 young women 1330 virgins 3303 beautiful of 4758 form.
2:3 [cbb5] 王可以派官在国中的各省招聚美貌的处女到书珊城”或作宫〔的女院、交给掌管女子的太监希该、给他们当用的香品
    [kjv] And let the king appoint officers in all the provinces of his kingdom, that they may gather together all the fair young virgins unto Shushan the palace, to the house of the women, unto the custody of Hege the king's chamberlain, keeper of the women; and let their things for purification be given them:
    [strongs] 6481 And let appoint 4428 the king 6496 overseers 3605 in all 4082 the provinces of 4438 his kingdom. 6908 And let them gather 3605 every 5291 young woman 1330 virgin 3303 beautiful of 4758 form 0413 to 7800 Shushan 1002 the palace, 0413 to 1004 the house of 0802 the women, 3027 to the hand of 1896 Hegai, 5631 eunuch of 4428 the king 8104 keeper of 0802 the women 5414 and to give 8562 them purifiers.
2:4 [cbb5] 王所喜爱的女子、可以立为王后、代替瓦实提王以这事为美、就如此行。
    [kjv] And let the maiden which pleaseth the king be queen instead of Vashti. And the thing pleased the king; and he did so.
    [strongs] 5291 And the young women 0834 who 3190 will be good 5869 in the eyes of 4428 the king 4427 will rule 8478 instead of 2060 Vashti. 3190 And was good 1697 the thing 5869 in the eyes of 4428 the king, 6213 and he did 3651 so.
2:5 [cbb5] 书珊城有一个犹大人、名叫末底改、是便雅悯人基士的曾孙、示每的孙子、睚珥的儿子
    [kjv] Now in Shushan the palace there was a certain Jew, whose name was Mordecai, the son of Jair, the son of Shimei, the son of Kish, a Benjamite;
    [strongs] 0376 A man, 1881 a Jew, 1961 was 7800 in Shushan 1002 the palace 8034 and his name 4782 Mordecai, 1121 the son of 2971 Jair, 1121 son of 8096 Shimei, 1121 son of 7027 Kish, 0376 a man of 1144 Benjamin,
2:6 [cbb5] 从前巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒将犹大王耶哥尼雅（又名约雅斤）和百姓从耶路撒冷掳去、末底改也在其内。
    [kjv] Who had been carried away from Jerusalem with the captivity which had been carried away with Jeconiah king of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away.
    [strongs] 0834 who 1540 was stripped 3389 from Jerusalem 0000 with 1473 the captivity 0834 which 1540 was led away 0000 with 3204 Jeconiah 4428 king of 3063 Judah, 0834 whom 1540 had stripped 5019 Nebuchadnezzar 4428 king of 0894 Babylon.
2:7 [cbb5] 末底改抚养他叔叔的女儿哈大沙、（后名以斯帖）、因为他没有父母这女子又容貌俊美、他父母死了、末底改就收他为自己的女儿。
    [kjv] And he brought up Hadassah, that is, Esther, his uncle's daughter: for she had neither father nor mother, and the maid was fair and beautiful; whom Mordecai, when her father and mother were dead, took for his own daughter.
    [strongs] 1961 And he was 0539 raising 1919 Hadassah- 0000 she {is} 0635 Esther- 1323 daughter of 1730 his uncle. 3588 For 0369 was no 0000 to her 0001 father 0517 nor mother. 5291 And the young woman 3303 was fair of 4758 appearance 3303 and beautiful of 4758 form, 4194 and at the death of 0001 her father 0517 and mother, 3947 took her 4782 Mordecai 0000 his 1323 for daughter.
2:8 [cbb5] 王的谕旨传出、就招聚许多女子到书珊城、交给掌管女子的希该、以斯帖也送入王宫、交付希该
    [kjv] So it came to pass, when the king's commandment and his decree was heard, and when many maidens were gathered together unto Shushan the palace, to the custody of Hegai, that Esther was brought also unto the king's house, to the custody of Hegai, keeper of the women.
    [strongs] 1961 And it was, 8085 when was heard 1697 the word of 4428 the king 1881 and his law 6908 and when had been gathered 5291 young women 7227 many 0413 to 7800 Shushan 1002 the palace, 3027 into the hand of 1896 Hegai. 0270 And was taken 0635 Esther 1004 to house 4428 the king's 3027 to the hand of 1896 Hegai, 8104 keeper of 0802 the women.
2:9 [cbb5] 希该喜悦以斯帖、就恩待他、急忙给他需用的香品、和他所当得的分、又派所当得的七个宫女服事他、使他和他的宫女搬入女院上好的房屋。
    [kjv] And the maiden pleased him, and she obtained kindness of him; and he speedily gave her her things for purification, with such things as belonged to her, and seven maidens, which were meet to be given her, out of the king's house: and he preferred her and her maids unto the best place of the house of the women.
    [strongs] 3190 And was good 5291 the young woman 5869 in his eyes 5375 and she rose in 2580 favor 6440 before him. 0926 And he hastened 8562 her purifiers 0000 and 4490 her portions, 5414 to give 0000 to her 0000 and 7651 seven 5291 young women 7200 seen 5414 to give 0000 to her 1004 out of house 4428 the king's. 8138 And he charged her 0000 and 5291 her maids 2896 to the best 1104 to the house of 0802 the women.
2:10 [cbb5] 以斯帖未曾将籍贯宗族告诉人、因为末底改嘱咐他不可叫人知道。
    [kjv] Esther had not shewed her people nor her kindred: for Mordecai had charged her that she should not shew it.
    [strongs] 3808 not 5046 had revealed 0635 Esther 5971 her people 0000 or 4138 her kindred, 3588 for 4782 Mordecai 6680 had changed 0000 her 0000 that 3808 not 5046 she should tell.
2:11 [cbb5] 末底改天天在女院前边行走、要知道以斯帖平安不平安、并后事如何。
    [kjv] And Mordecai walked every day before the court of the women's house, to know how Esther did, and what should become of her.
    [strongs] 3605 And with every 3117 day 3117 by day 4782 Mordecai 1980 was walking to and fro 6440 in front of 2691 the court of 1004 the house of 0802 the women 3045 to know 7965 the welfare of 0635 Esther 4100 and what 6213 would be done 0000 with her.
2:12 [cbb5] 众女子照例先洁净身体十二个月、六个月用没药油、六个月用香料和洁身之物、满了日期、然后挨次进去见亚哈随鲁王
    [kjv] Now when every maid's turn was come to go in to king Ahasuerus, after that she had been twelve months, according to the manner of the women, (for so were the days of their purifications accomplished, to wit, six months with oil of myrrh, and six months with sweet odours, and with other things for the purifying of the women;)
    [strongs] 0935 And when had come 8447 the turn of 5291 each 5291 young woman 0935 to go in 0000 to 4428 King 0325 Ahasuerus, 7093 at the end of 1961 being 0000 to her 8451 by the law of 0802 the women 8147 twelve 6240 - 3391 months, 3588 for 3651 so 4390 were fulfilled 3117 the days of 8562 their cleansings, 8337 six 3391 months 8081 with oil of 3910 myrrh, 8337 and six 3391 months 1314 with fragrances 1314 and with the perfumes of 0802 the women.
2:13 [cbb5] 女子进去见王是这样、从女院到王宫的时候、凡他所要的、都必给他
    [kjv] Then thus came every maiden unto the king; whatsoever she desired was given her to go with her out of the house of the women unto the king's house.
    [strongs] 2063 And in this {way} 5291 the young woman 0935 goes in 0413 to 4428 the king, 3605 all 0834 that 0559 she says 5414 is given 0000 to her 1980 to go 0000 with her 1004 from the house of 0802 the women 5704 to 1004 house 4428 the king's.
2:14 [cbb5] 晚上进去、次日回到女子第二院、交给掌管妃嫔的太监沙甲除非王喜爱他、再提名召他、就不再进去见王。
    [kjv] In the evening she went, and on the morrow she returned into the second house of the women, to the custody of Shaashgaz, the king's chamberlain, which kept the concubines: she came in unto the king no more, except the king delighted in her, and that she were called by name.
    [strongs] 6153 In the evening, 1931 she 0935 goes in 1242 and on the morning 1931 she 7725 returns 0413 to 1004 the house of 0802 the women 8145 second, 3027 to the hand of 8190 Shaashgaz, 5631 eunuch 4428 the king's, 8104 keeper of 6390 the concubines. 3808 not 0935 She will come in 5750 any more 0413 to 4428 the king 0518 unless 2654 delights 0000 in her 4428 the king 7121 and she is called 8034 by name.
2:15 [cbb5] 末底改叔叔亚比孩的女儿、就是末底改收为自己女儿的以斯帖、按次序当进去见王的时候、除了掌管女子的太监希该所派定给他的、他别无所求凡看见以斯帖的都喜悦他。
    [kjv] Now when the turn of Esther, the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her for his daughter, was come to go in unto the king, she required nothing but what Hegai the king's chamberlain, the keeper of the women, appointed. And Esther obtained favour in the sight of all them that looked upon her.
    [strongs] 0935 And when had come 8447 the turn of 0635 Esther, 1323 the daughter of 0032 Abihail, 1730 the uncle of 4782 Mordecai, 0834 whom 3947 he had taken 0000 to himself 1323 for his daughter, 0935 to go in 0413 to 4428 the king, 3808 not 1245 she did seek 1697 a thing 3588 ex- 0518 cept 0834 what 0559 said 1896 Hegai 5631 eunuch 4428 the king's, 8104 the keeper of 0802 the women. 1961 And was 0635 Esther 5375 rising {in} 2580 favor 5869 in the eyes of 3605 all 7200 seeing her.
2:16 [cbb5] 亚哈随鲁王第七年十月、就是提别月、以斯帖被引入宫见王
    [kjv] So Esther was taken unto king Ahasuerus into his house royal in the tenth month, which is the month Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign.
    [strongs] 0270 And was taken 0635 Esther 0413 to 4428 King 0325 Ahasuerus, 0413 to 1004 house 4438 his royal 2320 in the month 6224 tenth, 1931 it {is} 2320 the month 2887 Tebeth, 8141 in the year 7637 seventh 4427 of his rule.
2:17 [cbb5] 王爱以斯帖过於爱众女、他在王眼前蒙宠爱比众处女更甚王就把王后的冠冕戴在他头上、立他为王后、代替瓦实提
    [kjv] And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti.
    [strongs] 0157 And loved 4428 the king 0635 Esther 3605 above all 0802 the women, 5375 and she rose {in} 2580 grace 2580 and favor 6440 before him 3605 more than all 1330 the virgins. 5414 And he set 5145 the crown 4410 royal 7218 on her head 4427 and made her to rule 8478 instead of 2060 Vashti.
2:18 [cbb5] 王因以斯帖的缘故给众首领和臣仆设摆大筵席、又豁免各省的租税、并照王的厚意大颁赏赐。
    [kjv] Then the king made a great feast unto all his princes and his servants, even Esther's feast; and he made a release to the provinces, and gave gifts, according to the state of the king.
    [strongs] 6213 Then made 4428 the king 4960 a banquet 1419 great 3605 for all 8269 his princes 5650 and his servants, 4960 the banquet of 0635 Esther. 2010 And a rest day 4082 for the provinces 6213 he made, 5414 and gave 4979 gifts, 3027 by the hand of 4428 the king.
2:19 [cbb5] 第二次招聚处女的时候、末底改坐在朝门。
    [kjv] And when the virgins were gathered together the second time, then Mordecai sat in the king's gate.
    [strongs] 6908 And when were gathered 1330 the virgins 8145 the second time, 4782 then Mordecai 3427 was sitting 8179 at gate 4428 the king's.
2:20 [cbb5] 以斯帖照着末底改所嘱咐的还没有将籍贯宗族告诉人因为以斯帖遵末底改的命、如抚养他的时候一样。
    [kjv] Esther had not yet shewed her kindred nor her people; as Mordecai had charged her: for Esther did the commandment of Mordecai, like as when she was brought up with him.
    [strongs] 3808 not 0635 Esther 5046 revealing 4138 her kindred 0853 or 5971 her people 0834 as 6584 charged 0000 her 4782 Mordecai. 0000 And 4687 the command of 4782 Mordecai 0635 Esther 6213 was doing, 0834 as 5414 she did 0545 when she was supported 0000 by him.
2:21 [cbb5] 当那时候、末底改坐在朝门、王的太监中有两个守门的辟探和提列恼恨亚哈随鲁王、想要下手害他
    [kjv] In those days, while Mordecai sat in the king's gate, two of the king's chamberlains, Bigthan and Teresh, of those which kept the door, were wroth, and sought to lay hands on the king Ahasuerus.
    [strongs] 3117 In days 1992 those, 4782 while Mordecai 3427 was sitting 8179 at gate 4428 the king's, 2734 were angry 0904 Bigthan 8657 and Teresh, 8147 two of 5631 eunuchs 4428 the king's. 8104 And was guarding 5592 the threshold. 1245 And sought 7971 to stretch forth 3027 a hand 4428 against King 0325 Ahasuerus.
2:22 [cbb5] 末底改知道了、就告诉王后以斯帖以斯帖奉末底改的名、报告於王
    [kjv] And the thing was known to Mordecai, who told it unto Esther the queen; and Esther certified the king thereof in Mordecai's name.
    [strongs] 3045 And was known 1697 the matter 4782 to Mordecai. 5608 And he told {it} 0635 to Esther 1377 the queen. 0559 And declared {it} 0635 Esther 4428 to the king 7034 in the name of 4782 Mordecai.
2:23 [cbb5] 究察这事、果然是实、就把二人挂在木头上、将这事在王面前写於历史上。
    [kjv] And when inquisition was made of the matter, it was found out; therefore they were both hanged on a tree: and it was written in the book of the chronicles before the king.
    [strongs] 1245 Then was searched 1697 the matter, 4672 it was found out, 8518 and were hanged 8147 the two of them 5921 on 6086 a tree. 3789 And it was written 5612 in the Book of 1697 the Matters of 3117 the Days 6440 before 4428 the king.
