    [kjv] Now it came to pass in the days of Ahasuerus, (this is Ahasuerus which reigned, from India even unto Ethiopia, over an hundred and seven and twenty provinces:)
    [strongs] 1961 And it was 3117 in the days of 0325 Ahasuerus- 1931 he is 0325 {the} Ahasuerus 4427 ruling 1912 from India 5704 even to 3568 Ethiopia, 7651 seven 6242 twenty- 3967 and a hundred 4082 provinces-
1:2 [cbb5] 亚哈随鲁王在书珊城的宫登基、
    [kjv] That in those days, when the king Ahasuerus sat on the throne of his kingdom, which was in Shushan the palace,
    [strongs] 3117 in days 1992 those, 3427 when sat 4428 King 0325 Ahasuerus 5921 on 3678 the throne of 4438 his kingdom, 0834 which {was} 7800 in Shushan 1002 the palace,
1:3 [cbb5] 在位第三年、为他一切首领臣仆设摆筵席有波斯和玛代的权贵、就是各省的贵胄与首领、在他面前
    [kjv] In the third year of his reign, he made a feast unto all his princes and his servants; the power of Persia and Media, the nobles and princes of the provinces, being before him:
    [strongs] 8141 in the year 7992 third 4427 of his rule, 6213 he made 4960 a banquet 3605 for all 8269 his princes 5650 and his servants. 2428 The power of 6539 Persia 4074 and Media, 6579 the nobles 8269 and princes of 4082 the provinces, 6440 were before him
1:4 [cbb5] 他把他荣耀之国的丰富、和他美好威严的尊贵、给他们看了许多日、就是一百八十日。
    [kjv] When he shewed the riches of his glorious kingdom and the honour of his excellent majesty many days, even an hundred and fourscore days.
    [strongs] 7200 when he made known 6239 the riches of 3519 the glory of 4438 his kingdom 0000 and 1935 the honor of 8597 excellent 1433 his greatness, 3117 days 7227 many- 8084 and eighty 3967 a hundred 3117 days.
1:5 [cbb5] 这日子满了、又为所有住书珊城的大小人民、在御园的院子里设摆筵席七日
    [kjv] And when these days were expired, the king made a feast unto all the people that were present in Shushan the palace, both unto great and small, seven days, in the court of the garden of the king's palace;
    [strongs] 4390 And when were fulfilled 3117 days 0428 these, 8384 made 4428 the king 3605 for all 5971 the peoples 4672 who were found 7800 in Shusham 1002 the palace, 1419 both to great 0000 and to 6996 small, 4960 a banquet 7651 for seven 3117 days 2691 in the court of 1594 the garden of 1002 palace 4428 the king's.
1:6 [cbb5] 有白色、绿色、蓝色的帐子、用细麻绳紫色绳从银环内系在白玉石柱上、有金银的床榻、摆在红白黄黑玉石铺的石地上
    [kjv] Where were white, green, and blue, hangings, fastened with cords of fine linen and purple to silver rings and pillars of marble: the beds were of gold and silver, upon a pavement of red, and blue, and white, and black, marble.
    [strongs] 3836 White 0906 linen 8504 and violet, 0270 overlaying, 2256 with cords of 7336 fine linen 0713 and purple 0000 to 2885 rings 3701 silver 5982 and of pillars 8336 white marble. 4296 Couches 2091 {of} gold 3701 and silver, 5921 on 4837 a pavement of 0923 {red} marble 3836 and white 1858 and pearl 5508 and black marble.
1:7 [cbb5] 用金器皿赐酒、器皿各有不同、御酒甚多、足显王的厚意
    [kjv] And they gave them drink in vessels of gold, (the vessels being diverse one from another,) and royal wine in abundance, according to the state of the king.
    [strongs] 8248 And they gave to drink 3627 in containers of 2091 gold, 3627 and the containers 3627 from one another 8138 being different, 3196 and wine 4410 royal 7230 in plenty 3027 by the hand of 4428 the king.
1:8 [cbb5] 喝酒有例、不准勉强人、因王吩咐宫里的一切臣宰、让人各随己意。
    [kjv] And the drinking was according to the law; none did compel: for so the king had appointed to all the officers of his house, that they should do according to every man's pleasure.

1:9 [cbb5] 王后瓦实提在亚哈随鲁王的宫内、也为妇女设摆筵席。
    [kjv] Also Vashti the queen made a feast for the women in the royal house which belonged to king Ahasuerus.
    [strongs] 1571 Also 2060 Vashti 1377 the queen 8384 made 4960 a banquet 0802 for the women 1004 in the household 4410 royal 0834 which {was} 4428 to the King, 0325 Ahasuerus.
1:10 [cbb5] 第七日、亚哈随鲁王饮酒心中快乐、就吩咐在他面前侍立的七个太监米户幔、比斯他、哈波拿、比革他、亚拨他、西达、甲迦、
    [kjv] On the seventh day, when the heart of the king was merry with wine, he commanded Mehuman, Biztha, Harbona, Bigtha, and Abagtha, Zethar, and Carcas, the seven chamberlains that served in the presence of Ahasuerus the king,
    [strongs] 3117 On the day 7637 seventh, 2896 when was merry 3820 the heart of 4428 the king 3196 with wine, 0559 he said 4104 to Mehuman, 0968 Biztha, 2726 Harbana, 0903 Bigtha, 0005 and Abagtha, 2242 Zethar, 3752 and Carcas, 7651 seven 5631 the eunuchs 8334 ministering 6440 in the presence of 4428 King 0325 Ahasuerus,
1:11 [cbb5] 请王后瓦实提头戴王后的冠冕到王面前、使各等臣民看他的美貌、因为他容貌甚美
    [kjv] To bring Vashti the queen before the king with the crown royal, to shew the people and the princes her beauty: for she was fair to look on.

1:12 [cbb5] 王后瓦实提却不肯遵太监所传的王命而来、所以王甚发怒、心如火烧。
    [kjv] But the queen Vashti refused to come at the king's commandment by his chamberlains: therefore was the king very wroth, and his anger burned in him.

1:13 [cbb5] 那时、在王左右常见王面、国中坐高位的、有波斯和玛代的七个大臣、就是甲示拿、示达、押玛他、他施斯、米力、玛西拿、米母干、都是达时务的明哲人按王的常规、办事必先询问知例明法的人王问他们说、
    [kjv] Then the king said to the wise men, which knew the times, (for so was the king's manner toward all that knew law and judgment:
    [strongs] 0559 And said 4428 the king 3450 to the wise men 3045 knowing 6256 the times- 3588 for 3651 thus 1697 was the way of 4428 the kings 6440 toward 3605 all 3045 knowing 1881 law 1779 and judgment.

    [kjv] And the next unto him was Carshena, Shethar, Admatha, Tarshish, Meres, Marsena, and Memucan, the seven princes of Persia and Media, which saw the king's face, and which sat the first in the kingdom;)
    [strongs] 7138 And ones next 0000 to him 3771 {were} Carshena, 8369 Shether, 0133 Admatha, 8659 Tarshish, 4825 Meres, 4826 Marsena, 4462 {and} Memucan, 7651 the seven 8269 princes of 6539 Persia 4074 and Media, 7200 seeing 6440 face 4428 the king's, 3427 the ones sitting in 7223 the chief place 4438 in the kingdom-
1:15 [cbb5] 王后瓦实提不遵太监所传的王命、照例应当怎样办理呢
    [kjv] What shall we do unto the queen Vashti according to law, because she hath not performed the commandment of the king Ahasuerus by the chamberlains?
    [strongs] 1881 By law, 4100 what 6213 will be done 4436 with Queen 2060 Vashti, 0000 because 3808 not 6213 she has done 4687 the command of 4428 King 0325 Ahasuerus 3027 by the hand of 5631 the eunuchs?
1:16 [cbb5] 米母干在王和众首领面前回答说、王后瓦实提、这事不但得罪王、并且有害於王各省的臣民
    [kjv] And Memucan answered before the king and the princes, Vashti the queen hath not done wrong to the king only, but also to all the princes, and to all the people that are in all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus.
    [strongs] 0559 And answered 4462 Memucan 6440 in the presence of 4428 the king 8269 and princes, 3808 Not 5921 to 4428 the king 0905 only 5753 has done wrong 2060 Vashti 1377 the queen, 1571 but also 5921 to 3605 all 8269 the princes, 0000 and to 3605 all 5971 the people 0000 who {are} 3605 in all 4082 the provinces of 4428 King 0325 Ahasuerus.
1:17 [cbb5] 因为王后这事必传到众妇人的耳中、说、亚哈随鲁王吩咐王后瓦实提到王面前、他却不来、他们就藐视自己的丈夫
    [kjv] For this deed of the queen shall come abroad unto all women, so that they shall despise their husbands in their eyes, when it shall be reported, The king Ahasuerus commanded Vashti the queen to be brought in before him, but she came not.
    [strongs] 3318 For will go out 1697 the matter of 1377 the queen 3605 to all 0802 women, 0959 to cause to be despised 1167 their husbands 5869 in their eyes, 0559 in their reporting 4428 {that} King 0325 Ahasuerus 0559 said 0935 to bring in 2060 Vashti 1377 the queen 6440 before him, 3808 but not 0935 she did come.
1:18 [cbb5] 今日波斯和玛代的众夫人听见王后这事、必向王的大臣照样行从此必大开藐视和忿怒之端。
    [kjv] Likewise shall the ladies of Persia and Media say this day unto all the king's princes, which have heard of the deed of the queen. Thus shall there arise too much contempt and wrath.
    [strongs] 3117 And day 0000 this 1696 will speak 8282 the princesses of 6539 Persia 4074 and Media 0000 who 8085 have heard 1697 the matter of 1377 the queen 3605 to all 8269 princes of 4428 the king, 0000 and {will be} 0963 contempt 7379 and strife.
1:19 [cbb5] 王若以为美、就降旨写在波斯和玛代人的例中、永不更改、不准瓦实提再到王面前、将他王后的位分赐给比他还好的人
    [kjv] If it please the king, let there go a royal commandment from him, and let it be written among the laws of the Persians and the Medes, that it be not altered, That Vashti come no more before king Ahasuerus; and let the king give her royal estate unto another that is better than she.

1:20 [cbb5] 所降的旨意传遍通国、（国度本来广大）所有的妇人、无论丈夫贵贱都必尊敬他。
    [kjv] And when the king's decree which he shall make shall be published throughout all his empire, (for it is great,) all the wives shall give to their husbands honour, both to great and small.
    [strongs] 8045 And will be heard 6599 the decree of 4428 the king 0834 which 3722 he will make 3605 throughout all 4438 his kingdom, 3588 for 1419 great 1931 it {is}. 3605 And all 0802 the wives 5414 will give 3366 honor 1167 to their husbands 1419 to the great 0000 and to 6996 the small.
1:21 [cbb5] 王和众首领都以米母干的话为美、王就照这话去行、
    [kjv] And the saying pleased the king and the princes; and the king did according to the word of Memucan:
    [strongs] 3190 And was good 5002 the saying 5869 in the eyes of 4428 the king 8269 and the princes, 0559 and did 4428 the king 1697 according to the word of 4462 Memucan.
1:22 [cbb5] 发诏书、用各省的文字、各族的方言、通知各省、使为丈夫的在家中作主、各说本地的方言。
    [kjv] For he sent letters into all the king's provinces, into every province according to the writing thereof, and to every people after their language, that every man should bear rule in his own house, and that it should be published according to the language of every people.
