    [kjv] Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where was a synagogue of the Jews:
    [strongs] 1353 traveling through 1161 And 0295 Amphipolis 2532 and 0624 Apollonia, 2064 they came 1519 to 2332 Thessalonica, 3699 where 2258 was 4864 a synagogue 3588 of the 2453 Jews.
17:2 [cbb5] 保罗照他素常的规榘进去、一连三个安息日、本着圣经与他们辩论、
    [kjv] And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures,
    [strongs] 2596 as 1161 And 3588 the 1486 custom 3588 with 3972 Paul, 1525 he entered 4314 to 0846 them, 2532 and 1909 on 4521 Sabbaths 5140 three 1256 reasoned 0846 with them 0575 from 3588 the 1124 Scriptures,
17:3 [cbb5] 讲解陈明基督必须受害、从死里复活又说、我所传与你们的这立耶稣、就是基督。
    [kjv] Opening and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ.

17:4 [cbb5] 他们中间有些人听了劝、就附从保罗和西拉并有许多虔敬的希利尼人、尊贵的妇女也不少。
    [kjv] And some of them believed, and consorted with Paul and Silas; and of the devout Greeks a great multitude, and of the chief women not a few.
    [strongs] 2532 And 5100 some 1537 of 0846 them 3982 were persuaded, 2532 and 4345 joined themselves 3972 to Paul 2532 and 4609 Silas, 3588 of the 5037 both 4576 worshiping 1672 Greeks 4183 a great 4128 crowd, 1135 of women 5037 and 3588 the 4413 most important, 3756 not 3641 a few.
17:5 [cbb5] 但那不信的犹太人心里嫉妒、招聚了些市井匪类、搭夥成群、耸动合城的人、闯进耶孙的家、要将保罗西拉带到百姓那里。
    [kjv] But the Jews which believed not, moved with envy, took unto them certain lewd fellows of the baser sort, and gathered a company, and set all the city on an uproar, and assaulted the house of Jason, and sought to bring them out to the people.
    [strongs] 2206 becoming jealous 1161 And 3588 the 0544 disobeying 2453 Jews, 2532 and 4355 taking aside 3588 of the 0060 market-loafers 5100 some, 0435 men 4190 wicked, 2532 and 3792 gathering a crowd, 2350 set into turmoil 3588 the 4172 city, 2186 coming on 5037 and 3588 the 3614 household 2394 of Jason 2212 sought 0846 them 0071 to bring on 1519 to 3588 the 1218 mob.
17:6 [cbb5] 找不着他们、就把耶孙、和几个弟兄、拉到地方官那里、喊叫说、那搅乱天下的、也到这里来了
    [kjv] And when they found them not, they drew Jason and certain brethren unto the rulers of the city, crying, These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also;
    [strongs] 3361 not 2147 finding 1161 And 0846 them, 4951 they dragged 2394 Jason 2532 and 5100 some 0080 brothers 1909 to 3588 the 4173 city judges, 0994 crying, 3754 - 3588 Those 3588 the 3625 habitable world 0387 having turned upside down, 3778 these 2532 also 1759 here 3918 have come,
17:7 [cbb5] 耶孙收留他们这些人都违背该撒的命令、说另有一个王耶稣。
    [kjv] Whom Jason hath received: and these all do contrary to the decrees of Caesar, saying that there is another king, one Jesus.
    [strongs] 3739 whom 5264 has received 2394 Jason! 2532 And 3778 these 3956 all 0561 contrary 3588 to the 1378 decrees 2541 of Caesar 4138 act, 0935 king 3004 saying 2087 another 1511 to be, 2424 Jesus.
17:8 [cbb5] 众人和地方官、听见这话、就惊慌了。
    [kjv] And they troubled the people and the rulers of the city, when they heard these things.
    [strongs] 5015 they disturbed 1161 And 3588 the 3793 crowd, 2532 and 3588 the 4173 city judges 0191 hearing 5023 these things.
17:9 [cbb5] 於是取了耶孙和其馀之人的保状、就释放了他们。
    [kjv] And when they had taken security of Jason, and of the other, they let them go.
    [strongs] 2532 And 2983 taking 3588 the 2425 security 3844 from 2394 Jason 2532 and 3588 the 3062 rest, 0630 they let go 0846 them.
17:10 [cbb5] 弟兄们、随即在夜间打发保罗和西拉往庇哩亚去二人到了、就进入犹太人的会堂。
    [kjv] And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews.
    [strongs] 3588 the 1161 And 0080 brothers 2112 immediately 1223 during 3588 the 3571 night 1599 sent 5037 both 3972 Paul 2532 and 4609 Silas 1519 to 0960 Berea, 3748 who 3854 having arrived 1519 into 3588 the 4864 synagogue 3588 of the 2453 Jews 0549 went.
17:11 [cbb5] 这地方的人、贤於帖撒罗尼迦的人、甘心领受这道、天天考查圣经、要晓得这道是与不是。
    [kjv] These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
    [strongs] 3778 these 1161 And 2258 were 2104 more noble 9999 {than} 3588 those 1722 in 2332 Thessalonica, 3748 who 1209 received 3588 the 3056 word 3326 with 3956 all 4288 readiness, 2596 daily 2250 - 0350 examining 3588 the 1124 Scriptures, 1487 if 2192 have 5023 these things 3779 so.
17:12 [cbb5] 所以他们中间多有相信的又有希利尼尊贵的妇女、男子也不少。
    [kjv] Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few.
    [strongs] 4183 Many, 3303 there- 3767 fore, 1537 of 0846 them 4100 believed 2532 and 3588 of the 1674 Greek 1135 women 2158 honorable 2532 and 0435 men 3756 not 3641 a few.
17:13 [cbb5] 但帖撒罗尼迦的犹太人、知道保罗又庇哩亚传神的道、也就往那里去、耸动搅扰众人。
    [kjv] But when the Jews of Thessalonica had knowledge that the word of God was preached of Paul at Berea, they came thither also, and stirred up the people.
    [strongs] 5613 when 1161 And 1097 knew 3588 the 0575 from 2332 Thessalonica 2453 Jews 3754 that 2532 also 1722 in 0960 Berea 2605 was announced 5259 by 3972 Paul 3588 the 3056 word 3588 of 2316 God, 2064 they came 2546 there 4531 also shaking 3588 the 3793 crowd.
17:14 [cbb5] 当时弟兄们便打发保罗往海边去西拉和提摩太仍住在庇哩亚。
    [kjv] And then immediately the brethren sent away Paul to go as it were to the sea: but Silas and Timotheus abode there still.
    [strongs] 2112 at once 1161 And, 5119 then, 3972 Paul 1821 sent away 3588 the 0080 brothers 4198 to go 5613 until 1909 to 3588 the 2281 sea. 5278 remained 1161 And 5037 both 4609 Silas 2532 and 5095 Timothy 1563 there.
17:15 [cbb5] 送保罗的人带他到了雅典既领了保罗的命、叫西拉和提摩太速速到他这里来、就回去了。
    [kjv] And they that conducted Paul brought him unto Athens: and receiving a commandment unto Silas and Timotheus for to come to him with all speed, they departed.
    [strongs] 3588 those 1161 And 2525 conducting 3972 Paul 0071 brought 0846 him 2193 as far as 0116 Athens. 2532 And 2983 having received 1785 a command 4314 to 4609 Silas 2532 and 5095 Timothy, 2443 that 5613 as 5033 quickly 2064 they come 4314 to 0846 him, 1826 they departed.
17:16 [cbb5] 保罗在雅典等候他们的时候、看见满城都是偶像、就心里着急。
    [kjv] Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was stirred in him, when he saw the city wholly given to idolatry.
    [strongs] 1722 in 1161 And 0116 Athens 1551 awaiting 0846 them 3972 Paul 3947 was pained 3588 the 4151 spirit 0846 of him 1722 in 0846 him, 2334 observing 2712 full of images 5607 being 3588 the 4172 city.
17:17 [cbb5] 於是在会堂里、与犹太人、和虔敬的人、并每日在市上所遇见的人辩论。
    [kjv] Therefore disputed he in the synagogue with the Jews, and with the devout persons, and in the market daily with them that met with him.
    [strongs] 1256 He addressed, 3303 there- 3767 fore, 1722 in 3588 the 4864 synagogue 3588 the 2453 Jews 2532 and 3588 those 4576 worshiping. 2532 Also 1722 in 3588 the 0058 market 2596 - 3956 every 2250 day 4314 to 3588 those 3909 happening to be 9999 {there}.
17:18 [cbb5] 还有以彼古罗和斯多亚两门的学士、与他争论有的说、这胡言乱语的要说甚麽有的说、他似乎是传说外邦鬼神的这话是因保罗传讲耶稣、与复活的道。
    [kjv] Then certain philosophers of the Epicureans, and of the Stoicks, encountered him. And some said, What will this babbler say? other some, He seemeth to be a setter forth of strange gods: because he preached unto them Jesus, and the resurrection.
    [strongs] 5100 some 1161 And 3588 of the 1946 Epicureans 2532 and 3588 of the 4770 Stoics, 5386 philosophers, 4820 fell in with 0846 him. 2532 And 5100 some 3004 said, 5101 What 0302 may 2309 desire 4691 dilettante 3778 this 3004 to say? 3588 these 1161 And, 3581 of foreign 1140 demons 1380 he seems 2604 an announcer 1511 to be 3754 (because 2424 Jesus 2532 and 3588 the 0386 resurection 0846 to them 2097 he announced).
17:19 [cbb5] 他们就把他带到亚略巴古说、你所讲的这新道、我们也可以知道麽
    [kjv] And they took him, and brought him unto Areopagus, saying, May we know what this new doctrine, whereof thou speakest, is?
    [strongs] 1949 taking hold 5037 And 0846 of him, 1909 to 3588 the 0697 Areopagus 0071 they led 9999 {him}, 3004 saying, 1410 Are we able 1097 to know 5101 what 2537 new 3778 this 5259 by 4675 you 2980 being spoken 1322 teaching 9999 {is}?
17:20 [cbb5] 因为你有些奇怪的事、传到我们耳中我们愿意知道这些事是甚麽意思。
    [kjv] For thou bringest certain strange things to our ears: we would know therefore what these things mean.
    [strongs] 3579 startling things 1063 For 5100 some 1533 you bring 1519 to 3588 the 0189 ears 2257 of us. 1014 We are minded, 3767 then, 1097 to know 5101 what 0302 - 2309 wished 5023 these things 1511 to be.
17:21 [cbb5] （雅典人、和住在那里的客人、都不顾别的事、只将新闻说说听听。）
    [kjv] (For all the Athenians and strangers which were there spent their time in nothing else, but either to tell, or to hear some new thing.)
    [strongs] 0117 Athenians 1161 And 3956 all 2532 and 3588 the 1927 living 3581 strangers 1519 for 3762 nothing 2087 different 2119 have leisure 2228 either 3004 to say 5100 something, 2532 and 0191 to hear 2537 newer 9999 {things}.
17:22 [cbb5] 保罗站在亚略巴古当中、说、众位雅典人哪、我看你们凡事很敬畏鬼神。
    [kjv] Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars' hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious.
    [strongs] 2476 standing 1161 And 3972 Paul 1722 in 3319 {the} middle 3588 of the 0697 Areopagus 5346 said, 0435 Men, 0117 Athenians, 2596 in 3956 everything 5613 how 1174 very fearful of gods 5209 you 2334 I observe.
17:23 [cbb5] 我游行的时候、观看你们所敬拜的、遇见一座坛、上面写着未识之神你们所不认识而敬拜的、我现在告诉你们。
    [kjv] For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.
    [strongs] 1330 passing through 1063 For 2532 and 0333 looking up at 3588 the 4574 objects of worship 5216 of you, 2147 I found 2532 also 1041 an altar 1722 in 3739 which 1924 had been written, 0057 TO AN UNKNOWN 2316 GOD. 3739 Whom, 3767 then 0050 not knowing 2151 you reverence, 5126 this One 1473 I 2605 announce 5213 to you.
17:24 [cbb5] 创造宇宙和其中万物的神、既是天地的主、就不住人手所造的殿
    [kjv] God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
    [strongs] 3588 - 2316 God, 3588 the {One} 4160 who made 3588 the 2689 world 2532 and 3956 all things 1722 in 0846 it, 3778 this One 3772 of Heaven 2532 and 1093 of earth 2962 Lord 5225 being, 3756 not 1722 in 5499 handmade 3485 temples 2730 lives,
17:25 [cbb5] 也不用人手服事、好像缺少甚麽、自己倒将生命、气息、万物、赐给万人。
    [kjv] Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;
    [strongs] 3761 nor 5159 by 5495 hands 0444 of men 2323 is served 4326 having need 5100 of anything. 0846 He 1325 is giving 3956 to all 2222 life 2532 and 4157 breath, 2532 and 3956 all things.
17:26 [cbb5] 他从一本造出万族的人、”本有古卷作血脉〔住在全地上、并且豫先定准他们的年限、和所住的疆界
    [kjv] And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

17:27 [cbb5] 要叫他们寻求神、或者可以揣摩而得、其实他离我们各人不远
    [kjv] That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
    [strongs] 2212 to seek 3588 - 2316 God, 1487 if 0686 perhaps 1065 - 5584 they might grope for 0846 Him 2532 and 2147 could find, 2532 even though 1065 - 3756 not 3112 far 0575 from 1520 one 1538 each 2257 of us 5225 being.
17:28 [cbb5] 我们生活、动作、存留、都在乎他就如你们作诗的、有人说、我们也是他所生的。
    [kjv] For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

17:29 [cbb5] 我们既是神所生的、就不当以为神的神性像人用手艺、心思、所雕刻的金、银、石。
    [kjv] Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.
    [strongs] 1085 offspring 2070 we are. 1085 offspring 3767 Then 5225 being 3588 of 2316 God, 3756 not 3784 we ought 3543 to suppose 5557 to gold, 2228 or 0696 to silver, 2228 or 3037 to stone, 5480 to an engraving 5078 of art 2532 and 1761 of imagination 0444 of man, 3588 the 2304 Godhead 1511 is 3664 like.
17:30 [cbb5] 世人蒙昧无知的时候、神并不监察、如今却吩咐各处的人都要悔改。
    [kjv] And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
    [strongs] 3588 the 3303 indeed 3767 Then 5550 times 0052 of ignorance 5237 overlooking, 3588 - 2316 God 3569 now 3853 declared 0444 to men 3956 all 3837 everywhere 3340 to change {their} heart,
17:31 [cbb5] 因为他已经定了日子、要藉着他所设立的人、按公义审判天下并且叫他从死里复活、给万人作可信的凭据。
    [kjv] Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
    [strongs] 1360 because 2476 He set 2250 a day 1722 in 3739 which 3195 He is going 2919 to judge 3588 the 3625 habitable world 1722 in 1343 righteousness, 1722 by 0435 a Man 3739 whom 3724 He appointed 4102 proof 3930 having given 3956 to all 0450 having raised 0846 him 1537 from 9999 {the} 3498 dead.
17:32 [cbb5] 众人听见从死里复活的话、就有讥诮他的又有人说、我们再听你讲这个罢。
    [kjv] And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked: and others said, We will hear thee again of this matter.
    [strongs] 0191 hearing 9999 {of} 1161 And 0386 a resurrection 3498 of {the} dead, 3303 some 5512 indeed ridiculed, 1161 but 2036 said, 0191 We will hear 4675 you 3825 again 4012 concerning 5127 this.
17:33 [cbb5] 於是保罗从他们当中出去了。
    [kjv] So Paul departed from among them.
    [strongs] 2532 And 3779 thus 3972 Paul 1831 went out 1537 from 3319 {the} middle 0846 of them.
17:34 [cbb5] 但有几个人贴近他、信了主、其中有亚略巴古的官丢尼修、并一个妇人、名叫大马哩、还有别人一同信从。
    [kjv] Howbeit certain men clave unto him, and believed: among the which was Dionysius the Areopagite, and a woman named Damaris, and others with them.
    [strongs] 5100 some 1161 And 0435 men 2853 adhering 0846 to him 4100 believed, 1722 among 3739 whom 2532 both 1354 Dionysius, 3588 the 0698 Areopagite, 2532 and 1135 a woman, 3686 by name 1152 Damaris, 2532 and 2087 others 4862 with 0846 them.
