    [kjv] Then came he to Derbe and Lystra: and, behold, a certain disciple was there, named Timotheus, the son of a certain woman, which was a Jewess, and believed; but his father was a Greek:

16:2 [cbb5] 路司得和以哥念的弟兄、都称赞他。
    [kjv] Which was well reported of by the brethren that were at Lystra and Iconium.
    [strongs] 3739 who 3140 was witnessed 5259 to by 3588 the 1722 in 3082 Lystra 2532 and 2430 Iconium 0080 brothers.
16:3 [cbb5] 保罗要带他同去、只因那些地方的犹太人、都知道他父亲是希利尼人、就给他行了割礼。
    [kjv] Him would Paul have to go forth with him; and took and circumcised him because of the Jews which were in those quarters: for they knew all that his father was a Greek.

    [kjv] And as they went through the cities, they delivered them the decrees for to keep, that were ordained of the apostles and elders which were at Jerusalem.

16:5 [cbb5] 於是众教会信心越发坚固、人数天天加增。
    [kjv] And so were the churches established in the faith, and increased in number daily.

    [kjv] And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.

16:10 [cbb5] 保罗既看见这异象、我们随即想要往马其顿去、以为神召我们传福音给那里的人听。
    [kjv] And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.

    [kjv] Therefore loosing from Troas, we came with a straight course to Samothracia, and the next day to Neapolis;

16:12 [cbb5] 从那里来到腓立比、就是马其顿这一方的头一个城也是罗马的驻防城我们在这城里住了几天
    [kjv] And from thence to Philippi, which is the chief city of that part of Macedonia, and a colony: and we were in that city abiding certain days.

    [kjv] And on the sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made; and we sat down, and spake unto the women which resorted thither.

16:14 [cbb5] 有一个卖紫色布疋的妇人、名叫吕底亚、是推雅推喇城的人、素来敬拜神他听见了、主就开导他的心、叫他留心听保罗所讲的诂。
    [kjv] And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul.
    [strongs] 2532 And 5100 a certain 1135 woman, 3686 by name 3070 Lydia, 4211 a seller of purple, 4172 of {the} city 2363 of Thyatira, 4576 revering 3588 - 2316 God, 0191 heard, 3739 of whom 3588 the 2962 Lord 1272 opened 3588 the 2588 heart 4337 to attend to 3588 the things 2980 spoken 5259 by 3972 Paul.
16:15 [cbb5] 他和他一家既领了洗、便求我们说、你们若以为我是真信主的、”或作你们若以为我是忠心事主的〔请到我家里来住於是强留我们。
    [kjv] And when she was baptized, and her household, she besought us, saying, If ye have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and abide there. And she constrained us.

    [kjv] And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:

16:17 [cbb5] 他跟保罗和我们、喊着说、这些人是至高神的仆人、对你们传说救人的道。
    [kjv] The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation.

16:18 [cbb5] 他一连多日这样喊叫、保罗就心中厌烦、转身对那鬼说、我奉耶稣基督的名、吩咐你从他身上出来那鬼当时就出来了。
    [kjv] And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.

16:19 [cbb5] 使女的主人们、见得利的指望没有了、便揪住保罗和西拉、拉他们到市上去见首领
    [kjv] And when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas, and drew them into the marketplace unto the rulers,

16:20 [cbb5] 又带到官长面前说、这些人原是犹太人、竟骚扰我们的城、
    [kjv] And brought them to the magistrates, saying, These men, being Jews, do exceedingly trouble our city,
    [strongs] 2532 and 4317 having led near 0846 them 3588 to the 4755 magistrates, 9999 {they} 2036 said, 3778 These 0444 men 1613 are very troubling 2257 of us 3588 the 4172 city, 2453 Jews 5225 being
16:21 [cbb5] 传我们罗马人所不可受、不可行的规榘。
    [kjv] And teach customs, which are not lawful for us to receive, neither to observe, being Romans.
    [strongs] 2532 and 2605 they announce 1485 customs 3739 which 3756 not 1832 it is lawful 2254 for us 3858 to receive, 3761 nor 4160 to do, 4514 Romans 5607 being!
16:22 [cbb5] 众人就一同起来攻击他们官长吩咐剥了他们的衣裳、用棍打。
    [kjv] And the multitude rose up together against them: and the magistrates rent off their clothes, and commanded to beat them.
    [strongs] 2532 And 4911 rose together 3588 the 3793 crowd 2596 against 0846 them, 2532 and 3588 the 4755 Governors 4058 tearing off 0846 of them 3588 the 2440 clothes 2753 commanded 4463 to flog.
16:23 [cbb5] 打了许多棍、便将他们下在监里、嘱咐禁卒严紧看守。
    [kjv] And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely:
    [strongs] 4183 many 5037 And 2007 laying on 0846 them 4127 beatings 0906 threw 1519 into 5438 prison, 3853 charging 3588 the 1200 jailer 0806 securely 5083 to keep 0846 them.
16:24 [cbb5] 禁卒领了这样的命、就把他们下在内监里、两脚上了木狗。
    [kjv] Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks.
    [strongs] 3739 Who 3852 a charge 5108 such 2983 having received, 0906 threw 0846 them 1519 into 3588 the 2082 inner 5438 prison, 2532 and 3588 the 4228 feet 0846 of them 0805 secured 1519 in 3588 the 3586 stocks.
16:25 [cbb5] 约在半夜、保罗和西拉、祷告唱诗赞美神众囚犯也侧耳而听。
    [kjv] And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.
    [strongs] 2596 about 1161 And 3317 midnight, 3972 Paul 2532 and 4609 Silas, 4336 praying, 5214 sang a hymn, 9999 {to} 3588 - 2316 God. 1874 kept listening to 1161 And 0846 them 3588 the 1198 prisoners.
16:26 [cbb5] 忽然地大震动、甚至监牢的地基都摇动了监门立刻全开、众囚犯的锁炼也都松开了。
    [kjv] And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.
    [strongs] 0869 suddenly 1161 And 4578 an earthquake 1096 was 3173 great, 5620 so as 4531 to be shaken 3588 the 2310 foundations 3588 of the 1201 jail. 0455 were opened 5037 And 3916 immediately 3588 the 2374 doors 3956 all, 2532 and 3956 of all 3588 the 1199 bonds 0447 were loosened.
16:27 [cbb5] 禁卒一醒、看见监门全开、以为囚犯已经逃走、就拨刀要自杀。
    [kjv] And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled.
    [strongs] 1853 awake 1161 And 1096 becoming 3588 the 1200 jailer, 2532 and 1492 seeing 0455 having been opened 3588 the 2374 doors 3588 of the 5438 prison, 4685 having drawn 3162 a sword, 3195 was about 1438 himself 0337 to do away with, 3543 supposing 1628 to have escaped 3588 the 1198 prisoners.
16:28 [cbb5] 保罗大声呼叫说、不要伤害自己、我们都在这里。
    [kjv] But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here.
    [strongs] 5455 called 1161 But 5456 with a voice 3173 great 3972 Paul, 3004 saying, 3367 nothing 4238 Do 9999 {to} 4572 yourself 2556 harm, 0537 all 1063 for 2070 we are 1759 here.
16:29 [cbb5] 禁卒叫人拿灯来、就跳进去、战战兢兢的、俯伏在保罗西拉面前
    [kjv] Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas,
    [strongs] 0154 asking 1161 And 5457 lights, 1530 he rushed in, 2532 and 1790 trembling 1096 becoming 4363 he fell in front of 3972 Paul 2532 and 4609 Silas.
16:30 [cbb5] 又领他们出来、说、二位先生、我当怎样行才可以得救。
    [kjv] And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
    [strongs] 2532 And 4254 having led 0846 them 1854 outside 5346 said, 2962 Sirs, 5101 what 3165 me 1163 must 4160 do, 2443 so that 4982 I may be saved?
16:31 [cbb5] 他们说、当信主耶稣、你和你一家都必得救。
    [kjv] And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
    [strongs] 3588 they 1161 And 2036 said, 4100 Believe 1909 on 3588 the 2962 Lord 2424 Jesus 5547 Christ, 2532 and 4982 you will be saved, 4771 you 2532 and 3588 the 3624 household 4675 of you.
16:32 [cbb5] 他们就把主的道、讲给他和他全家的人听。
    [kjv] And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.

16:33 [cbb5] 当夜、就在那时候、禁卒把他们带去、洗他们的伤他和属乎他的人、立时都受了洗。
    [kjv] And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway.

16:34 [cbb5] 於是禁卒领他们上自己家里去、给他们摆上饭、他和全家、因为信了神、都很喜乐。
    [kjv] And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.

16:35 [cbb5] 到了天亮、官长打发差役来说、释放那两个人罢。
    [kjv] And when it was day, the magistrates sent the serjeants, saying, Let those men go.
    [strongs] 2250 day 1161 And 1096 coming, 0649 sent 3588 the 4755 Governors 3588 the 4465 floggers, 3004 saying, 0630 Let go 0444 men 1565 those.
16:36 [cbb5] 禁卒就把这话告诉保罗说、官长打发人来叫释放你们如今可以出监、平平安安的去罢。
    [kjv] And the keeper of the prison told this saying to Paul, The magistrates have sent to let you go: now therefore depart, and go in peace.
    [strongs] 0518 announced 1161 And 3588 the 1200 jailer 3056 words 5128 these 4314 to 3972 Paul: 3754 - 0649 have sent 3588 The 4755 Governors, 2443 that 0630 you be let go. 3568 Now, 3767 then, 1831 going out 4198 proceed 1722 in 1515 peace.
16:37 [cbb5] 保罗却说、我们是罗马人、并没有定罪、他们就在众人面前打了我们、又把我们下在监里现在要私下撵我们出去麽、这是不行的叫他们自己来领我们出去罢。
    [kjv] But Paul said unto them, They have beaten us openly uncondemned, being Romans, and have cast us into prison; and now do they thrust us out privily? nay verily; but let them come themselves and fetch us out.
    [strongs] 1161 And 3972 Paul 5346 said 4314 to 0846 them, 1194 Having beaten 2248 us 1219 publicly, 0178 uncondemned 0444 men, 4514 Romans 5225 being, 0906 they threw 1519 into 5438 prison! 2532 And 3568 now 2977 secretly 2248 us 1544 they throw out? 3756 No 1063 indeed, 0235 but 2064 coming 0846 themselves 2248 us 1806 let them bring out!
16:38 [cbb5] 差役把这话回禀官长官长听见他们是罗马人、就害怕了。
    [kjv] And the serjeants told these words unto the magistrates: and they feared, when they heard that they were Romans.
    [strongs] 0312 reported 1161 And 3588 to the 4755 Governors 3588 the 4465 floggers 4487 words 5023 these. 2532 And 5399 they were afraid, 0191 hearing 3754 that 4514 Romans 1526 they are.
16:39 [cbb5] 於是来劝他们、领他们出来、请他们离那城。
    [kjv] And they came and besought them, and brought them out, and desired them to depart out of the city.
    [strongs] 2532 And 2064 coming 3870 begged 0846 them, 2532 and 1806 bringing out 2065 implored 1831 to go out 3588 of the 4172 city.
16:40 [cbb5] 二人出了监、往吕底亚家里去见了弟兄们、劝慰他们一番、就走了。
    [kjv] And they went out of the prison, and entered into the house of Lydia: and when they had seen the brethren, they comforted them, and departed.
    [strongs] 1831 going out 1161 And 1537 from 3588 the 5438 prison, 1525 entered 1519 into 3588 the 9999 {house of} 3070 Lydia, 2532 and 1492 seeing 3588 the 0080 brothers, 3870 they exhorted 0846 them, 2532 and 1831 went out.
